On May 12th, 2016 students of Madame Sheriff’s grade 3 / 4 French Immersion class hosted a French Poetry Fundraising Café and raised almost 500 dollars. As a class they have decided to donate half the money we raised to help the school purchase nutritious foods to help families in need at John Mahood. The other half will be donated to the Woolwich Counselling Centre in honour of Braydon Payne (Dakota’s brother). As an extension of our Fundraising efforts, the students have decided to run the “Cake Walk” at Mahoodfest on Tuesday June 21st, 2016. Our goal is to raise a total of 1000 dollars. We are accepting all donations of cakes, as well, we invite you to come and play.
