Here’s an update on our Cake Walk Fundraising event at Mahoodfest.  First of all, sincere gratitude needs to be expressed to the students and parents that helped run the event.  A big thank-you also goes out to all those who donated cakes. The event was very successful!  We were able to meet our target of $1000 in total between the French Café and the Cake Walk with a grand total of $1058. This is an amazing accomplishment and the entire community should be very proud.

Over half of the money  raised will go to the Woolwich Counselling Centre, in honour of Braydon Payne.  The other half will go to John Mahood’s nutritious lunch program.   Congratulations to all the students, staff, and families involved in this successful cause.
