Cycling Into The Future is an organization that is doing bike training with all the Grade 5 students of Elmira this spring. On Saturday, April 8 at the Township Garage Sale we will have a stand outside the entrance of the WMC to collect 24-inch bikes that people may want to donate. These bikes will be refurbished and given away to kids in the program who cannot otherwise get a bike.
Cycling Into The Future is building a team of local instructors for its Grade 5 bike training program. If you are interested in cycling, have an ability to connect with kids, and can be available during the school day, please consider this opportunity. There are a number of training sessions for local instructors planned during the month of April.
