On Wednesday, September 20 the Township of Woolwich in partnership with the Community Awareness and Emergency Response (CAER) group hosted a Siren and Shelter-in-Place testing.

This is a test of the system.
The drill occurred this morning, Wednesday, September 20, approx.10:00 am – Elmira Siren Test – was successfully carried out by the staff and students.
During this time the staff and students at John Mahood practiced our shelter-in-place protocol.  Students were made aware ahead of time what the drill was about and what was expected of them.
